Message:
I was looking to have my Cessna R172K flown to South America and contacted your company. I received an answer from Kenneth Earl Norris who is in your pilot list. We agreed on a flat fee of 8,000 for him to ferry it to Bolivia. I turned the aircraft to him on March 2nd after giving him a total of 7500 dollars.
He said he did not want me to go with him, so I flew down to meet him. He asked for some repairs like a vacuum leak and a low voltage issue. He spent 1000 dollars on that and I wired him another 2000 dollars. This would leave him 8,750 for the trip. He had trouble getting a permit for Bolivia so I took care of that. He then asked to wait 2 weeks as he had his biannual review and I complied.
To make the story short, he never made it. He called me from Miami saying that the permit for Venezuela never came thru. GUESS HE SHOULD NOT have flown to Miami if that was the case. Also why go thru Venezuela?? could have gone thru Guiana.
I had to spend an extra 1300 to go to N.C. to get my plane of his hands. He only showed a few receipts to prove expenses.
Could NOT justify the 40 hours he put on my plane.
I have not seen a cent of my money.
As I got tired of not getting answers or results from him, I have initiated a legal process against him.
Not good publicity for your web site.
Gilbert
