Caveat emptor to all owners.
When you choose a ferrying company, make sure you get: 1) A legally binding, fully inclusive quotation (i.e no add-ons or unwelcome surprises later) 2) A legally binding contract between you and the company (not a random ferry pilot on a company's books), and 3) If the aeroplane is to be imported to the EU via Denmark for VAT reasons, a legally binding clause in the contract which will bind the ferry company not to land in the EU prior to landing in Denmark, and 4) Look for a company with experienced ferry pilots. 1000-1500 hours is nowhere near enough for this kind of work. 5000 hours is a more realistic minimum, and then only if they are trained properly in the art of ferry flying.
It's easy to quote cheap and make it more expensive later.
Caveat emptor!
