GAF currently has a crew of 25 pilots working on independent basis, skillfully combining their airline and flight instruction work with global aircraft delivery assignments. |

What are the benefits of having so many pilots working around the World ?
Rate. Our rates vary depending on the pilot experience, his type-ratings and insurability. This way, you have an option to choose between a more experienced pilot with a higher rate-per-day but lower insurance premium or a less experienced pilot with a lower rate-per-day expenses but higher insurance premium |
Location. Our pilots are located in various areas around the World, This translates into saving for you, because if we need to ferry a plane from the US to India and we have pilots based in Indonesia or China, pilot's total travel expenses will be a lot lower. Also, pilots working full time in these regions will have intimate knowledge of airspace and know how to deal with the local authorities in order to avoid delays |
Flexibility. Some routes may require an involvement of more then just one pilot. We may need to ferry your aircraft inside the US by pilot A and from Canada to Denmark by pilot B and from Denmark to, say, Russia by pilot C. This way, we can utilize various pilots possessing expertise in flying though various regional zones. |
Peace of mind. Probably the most important factor here is your peace of mind. We realize that buying an aircraft is not a "walk in the park". It represents a respectable investment and you need to know that the pilot in charge is not a kid with 250 hrs behind his belt and fresh out of the flight school. All pilots working with us are experienced aviators with a minimum flight time of 1500 hrs and ATP licenses or up to 37,000 hrs with multiple type-ratings. When trans-Atlantic flights are on the table, all pilots undertaking them would have had previous trans-Atlantic crossing experience with a good understanding of this route and possible difficulties ahead. |
| PLEASE NOTE: All pilots listed below, with exception of Mike Posluzny(CEO) and Aleksandr Sirotin (ACP) are working with Global Air Ferry on completely independent and self-employed basis. Although we check pilot's FAA and NTSB records on annual basis, we can not check many other relevant sources due to prevailing DPA(data protection) regulations. When signing your ferry contract with any of the pilots, please make sure to personally research his/her aviation background, flight experience, references, etc. |
