What's your daily or hourly rate ?
Well, as in any other profession, pilot's rate depends on his experience, qualifications, route difficulty and aircraft type. For example, a small ASEL plane ferry inside the US is a very low-risk factor flight requiring a fairly low level of aeronautical experience. On the other hand, a tans-Atlantic flight in winter on King Air 200 will require a highly skillful pilot with an appropriate type-rating.
Also, please remember: a highly-qualified pilot with thousands of hours of flight time will save you money on flight insurance. |
Please review our approximate pricing guidelines below. Do not forget, that each individual pilot may have their own pricing requirements. You will be asked to sign a contract with the particular pilot undertaking your flight and his charges may be different from our guidelines.
